SPKAC 2024-25 PLAYER REGISTRATION
Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club registration information for the 2024-2025 season.
Please review all of the following information prior to registering:
Tentative Start Dates for the 2024-25 Evaluations:
- U13AAA CO-ED - August 17
- U13AA CO-ED - August 29
- U15AAA - August 17
- U15AA - August 25
- U18AAA - August 29
- U17AAA - Sept 03
- U18AA - Sept 06
- U16AA - Sept 09
- U13AA Female - August 30
- U15AA Female - Sept 02
- U18AAA Female - August 23
- U18AA Female - Sept 07
Goalies are also to attend the following goalie evaluation sessions:
- U13 Goalies - August 21
- U15 Goalies - August 18
- U18 Goalies - August 28

Online Registration
New for this season, registration and player/team management will be managed via TeamLinkt in coordination with Sherwood Park Minor Hockey.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
For Resident Players
- Definition of Resident Player: Players residing within the Sherwood Park Minor Hockey Association (SPMHA) boundaries.
- Requirements:
- Hockey Canada ID (HCR#) from your Hockey Canada Spordle Account
- Completed Medical Information Form
- Note: Resident players are not required to register with SPMHA before registering with SPKAC. If a player is not selected for an SPKAC team, fees paid will be transferred to SPMHA registration, and any extra funds will be refunded, or remaining payments cancelled. Registration with SPMHA will occur at that time.
For New Resident Players
- Definition of New Resident Players: Players establishing residency within SPMHA boundaries for the new season who are transferring from another hockey association.
- Requirements:
- Completed Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form
- “admin@spmha.ab.ca” must be entered in the “FORWARD SUBMISSION” field.
- Proof of new residence or intended new residence within SPMHA boundaries.
- Hockey Canada ID (HCR#) from your Hockey Canada Spordle Account
- Birth Certificate
- Completed Medical Information Form
- Completed Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form
- Note: New resident players are not required to register with SPMHA before registering with SPKAC. If a player is not selected for an SPKAC team, fees paid will be transferred to SPMHA registration, and any extra funds will be refunded. Registration with SPMHA will occur at that time.
For Non-Resident Players (AAA & Female Stream Only)
- Definition of Non-Resident Player: Players living within the SPKAC elite draw zone area (see chart above).
- Requirements:

- Hockey Canada ID (HCR#) from your Hockey Canada Spordle Account
- Proof of Residency within the SPKAC draw zone
- Completed Medical Information Form
PAYMENT INFORMATION
- Payments are made online via credit card in installments.
- Installment amounts vary by division. Breakdown will be provided during registration.
- Payment structure is set up to align with SPMHA program fees to minimize overpayments/refunds. Unnecessary installment payments will be cancelled if player released from SPKAC tryout process.
- Online service fees are being absorbed by the association.
- If you are unable to pay via credit card, contact the SPMHA Office to make alternate arrangements.

Refund Policy
- Tryout Fees: Non-refundable after July 31, 2024.
- Registration Fees: Refunds available prior to team finalization, minus tryout fees.
