We are thrilled to announce that the Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club will be participating in Hockey Alberta’s U13AAA Pilot Project for the 2024-2025 season! This groundbreaking initiative is designed to provide an enhanced developmental experience for young athletes and ensure best-on-best competition with the best possible progression from U13 to higher levels of hockey.

About U13AAA: Hockey Alberta’s goal is aimed at establishing a new top level for U13 hockey. The program will feature new hosting structures, player movement rules, league schedules, and coach/player development standards to ensure an optimal experience for all participants.

Who Can Try Out: Tryouts for our SPKAC U13AAA team will be open to athletes living within the Sherwood Park boundaries, as well as athletes from surrounding areas whose Minor Hockey Associations are not hosting a U13AAA team.

  • Evaluation Camps Start: August 17
