FURY OPENER MAKES A WISH COME TRUE!!!
Fury Help Make a Wish Come True
Bethany is an amazing young woman who experienced a brain hemorrhage and stroke at the age of 12. She was not suppose to survive and if she did, it was predicted that she would live in a vegetative state. Bethany is now 21 years old, she loves to shop, listen to music, volunteer at the humane society and hang out with friends. She is so excited to be here with her friend Sara (her favorite goalie on the Fury). She has worked hard to get where she is and continues to amaze her friends and family with the things she accomplishes. She never gives up and is an inspiration to everyone she meets.
The Midget Elite AA Fury honored her and her success in their 2017/18 Season Opener Game. Bethany was given a warm heart felt welcome from the fans. The Fury gave her an honorary puck drop and afterwards she was thanked with flowers.
Way to go Bethany, you inspire so many to never give up.
